The First

In the start, in your heart, on your mind was only one thing.
Your heart full, your mind calm, your existence was peace.
And you clearly knew who was the first one to love you.
And all that you really needed to know was known.

Because the love of God was in your heart.

First to love.
First to let go.
The first hope.
The first you trust.

When you were born, you felt a reflection of God’s love.
The unconditional love of a parent.

Perfect love.
To let go, of control.
So you can make your choices.

And at some point you traded the truth you knew, the love you felt, your full joy for what was less.

If you are not right with God, what can you be right in?
If you cut him off, where would be the goodness in your life?

Everyone else is going to, let you down.

The original goodness.
The source of your free will.
The embracer of different.

Don’t settle for any less than the first, perfect love.
Don’t give any less than perfect unconditional love.
The First you knew, and the First you shall come back to.
